There is a subscription in Foodi, one of the food delivery platform in Bangladesh, known as SuperFoodi. Tk 1,000 (around 8 USD) a year, ten free deliveries a month.
I already pay for PandaPro on Foodpanda. A second delivery subscription felt a bit much.
So I didn't decide. I gave Claude Code my order history from both apps and asked it to tell me whether the pass made sense for how I actually order, not for some imagined version of me who orders every night.
Handing over the data#
There's no "export my orders" button in either app. The data lives behind the same requests the website makes when you scroll through your history, so that's what we went after.
Foodi was the fiddly one. Its site attaches a security header to each request that stops working almost as soon as it's made, so a request copied out of my browser worked once and then never again. Claude opened the site in a browser it controlled instead. I logged in, it clicked through all eight pages of my history, and it recorded the responses as they came back. That gave it all the orders I did.
Foodpanda wouldn't load in an automated browser at all. "Access to this page has been denied," even with my own Chrome profile. So I did it the manual way. I opened DevTools, copied one request from the orders page, and pasted it over. That single token was good for every page.
I understand why a delivery app doesn't want bots in its API. It's still a little funny that the most guarded thing in the whole exercise was a list of my own chicken orders.
What it found#
Claude started with what the pass would have saved me over the last twelve months.
My delivery fees were small, around Tk 45 a time, because most of my orders come from a fried chicken place about a kilometre away. A short delivery is a cheap delivery, so each free one saves very little. At that rate the pass breaks even at roughly two qualifying orders a month. I order a bit more often than that, so I clear it, though not by much. The pass only works for me because of how often I order, not how much each delivery costs.
Then it checked the fine print against my orders. Free delivery needs an order of Tk 350 or more, at what Foodi calls "selected restaurants". About five in six of my recent orders cleared Tk 350. Its verdict was that the pass would have covered about 1.4 times its own price in fees. A modest win.
What it found that I didn't ask about#
Since the Foodpanda orders were sitting right there, it checked the subscription I already had.
PandaPro costs Tk 599 a year. Over my current subscription year, the delivery fees it waived or cut add up to more than three times that. That number isn't an estimate. Foodpanda's history keeps the full fee beside what I actually paid, so Claude only had to subtract.
I'd been about to study a new Tk 1,000 pass more carefully than I'd ever looked at the one I was already paying for. The old one turned out to be the best deal of the lot.
